RULE # 1 TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR SERVICES!
Whether or not you realize it, you are continually selling yourself. You put your best foot forward when meeting anyone. Why? You want them to like you! You are trying to win their respect, attention, friendship, patronage or loyalty.
You are sellling yourself when you do things to attract a potential mate. You groom yourself to look your best, smile, act pleasant and agreeable, tell your date all about yourself, and learn about them in return. You hope that they will buy what you are selling—you! That is marketing.
Resenting promotion is one of the greatest obstacles to success. People who have issues with selling and promoting themselves are usually broke. It's obvious! How can you create a thriving health practice if you aren't telling EVERYONE about you, your products and your services?

An aversion to promoting yourself isn't humility. It is a projection of your own fear of rejection and a lack of faith in what you offer. People who have a problem with promoting their services don't fully believe in themselves or their product. And that can prevent you from being rewarded appropriately for the services and value that you provide to others.
Why being HUMBLE kill your health practice fast!
Do you really believe in the product or service you are offering? Do you really believe that what you do will benefit people? Then is it appropriate to hide your services from the people who need it? ... or make them work hard to find you? ... or allow only a select few to access your services by referral?
Suppose you suffered from arthritis, and you met somoene who had a cure for arthritis, but they never mentioned it to you. How would that make you feel?
If you really believe that what you have to offer can truly assist and benefit people, then it is your duty to tell them about it. It is up to them to choose whether or not to take advantage of the opportunity to be helped.
TAKE THIS QUICK TEST Rate the service or product you want to offer from 1-10 in terms of its how much you believe in its value. Are your results anything but a 10? Revise your product or service to increase its value. Are your results low? Stop offering that product or service and find a product or service you truly DO believe in!
