The RISK ... The REWARDS
If you choose a career in Alternative Health you will most likely end up working independantly. That takes a special kind of person, and a special kind of motivation.
Alternative Health professionals have an entirely different motivation than most entrepreneurs and business owners.
The majority of business owners have practical goals. They want to make money, and to have freedom.
What makes YOU want to become an holistic professional? If you are like most CAM practitioners, you have a noble cause. You want to help people and make a difference in the world.
Can you see how that might get in the way of financial or material success? It counteracts the desire and the drive to make money. Your dream is idealistic and altruistic. Making money is practical.
So, you may help a lot of people and feel good about yourself spiritually. But, you won't make a lot of money, because that's really not your goal.
How can you make certain you succeed financially and still honour your passion to help lots of people and make an important difference in the world?
Did you know the definition of 'entrepreneur' is 'a person who solves problems for people at a profit'? Doesn't that describe every holistic practitioner?
